Examine Yourself

This week's message is a little different. I was invited to return to the church where I first came to Christ to preach what is called an examination service in preparation for a "love Feast" (Lord's Supper) service. To really understand a love feast, read John 13. In 1 Corinthians 11 Paul gives instructions on how to approach communion in a worthy manner and all of it revolves around a simple concept, examine yourself! This message is a message that guides you in what to look for in your examination. The church is which I was preaching is a church in transition, they just started a building project and they are in the process of searching for a pastor, so I also address attitudes toward these things. This is a message for anyone who wants to follow Jesus, closely. How's your relationship? Examine yourself!

The Jezebel Spirit
